In the mid-nineties a new version of Gatchaman was released on video: Gatchaman OAV. The team members have their original Gatchaman names in this version, or names that sound alike in English: Ken, Joe, Jimmy and Rocky. They look different than in the original Gatchaman. To understand the story you probably have to know the original Gatchaman story. The videos are available in a subbed or in a dubbed version. Subbed seems to be the best choice. The OAV's are available on both video and DVD. The DVD has both the subbed and the dubbed version.
